André Schoorlemmer is a composer from Utrecht (The Netherlands). He started his musical career as a guitarist, taught himself to play the guitar, and was active for many years in a wide variety of styles and bands.
For several years he has focused on film music. His style is melancholic with an urge for fragile simplicity. You can often hear a guitar in it.
His music has premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, and he was awarded a Bronze Award at the Queen Palm International Films festival in LA in 2020.
